The flat white was smooth and tasty — exactly how I like it. Also tried the dirty matcha latte and it was such a cool mix of matcha and coffee, surprisingly good! The whole place smelled amazing — you could really catch the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee as soon as you walked in. Chill vibes and friendly staff too. Will definitely be back!

Definitely worth the 2-hour drive to find this cute cafe. I was craving for strawberry matcha drink and I read in reddit that this is one of the shops that they highly recommend. My first sip of the strawberry matcha is heaven!

Fancy Rost Coffee made to order by selecting Coffee Beans. Amazing to enjoy a REAL coffee made to order. I had The El Salvador. Unique strength. Hard to find. NO Tables which was somewhat of a letdown. However, go for the extraordinarily wonderful Coffee on sale. Friendly Staff. A secret treasure in the labyrinth that is Onehunga. Highly Recommend. 5 Stars

Any coffee lover knows about this coffee chain, can also buy from a wide range and variety of coffee beans which they can roast on the spot for you~ Needless to say, the coffee is great but don't miss the matcha as well! Very trendy these days but the Japanese know how to do it best - there's a new summer flavour, which was a mango matcha! (Not cheap, but worth!) Bonus for Deer Deer is that they can also add a coffee shot into your matcha as well, which tastes greaaat! Apparently they have house made cookies now too, unfortunately wasn't available when we visited in the afternoon in the weekend but will probably return again to try

I've been here twice in the past 2 days, I have tried the Matcha Latte and regualr Iced Latte, both were phenominal!!! The staff we all very lovely and showed me how they roast their beans. The vibes were immaculate, just like the coffee 10/10.

Rating: ⭐ 4.5 Stars I found Dear Deer through a recommendation from the barbers next door and it has quickly become a go to. The coffee is seriously good. It is rich, aromatic, and consistently smooth every time I have been. I even tried their Strawberry Matcha even though I am not usually a matcha person, and now I am a fan. It was fresh, balanced, and surprisingly good. I only wish there was space to sit in and enjoy it properly, but I understand space is limited. If you are nearby or working in the area, definitely stop in and grab a coffee. -Kuzshika

After doing a quick search for coffee in the area I stumbled across this little coffee bar which is off the beaten track away from the main streets. Very friendly ladies, fast and an absolute knock out of a coffee. Great strength and a lovely taste, no bitterness at all and nice velvety milk.
